Welcome To YRRS
Yarra Ranges Recycling Services (YRRS) operate Recycling and Waste Transfer Stations (RWTS) at Coldstream and Wesburn. Our parent company KTS Recycling also operates Knox Transfer Station a Recycling and Waste Transfer Station at Wantirna South and Frankston Regional Recycling Centre(FRRRC) located in Skye.
Yarra Ranges Recycling Services working in conjunction with KTS Recycling and WM Waste Management Services provide valuable, local recycling and waste management / rubbish tip facilities for the Dandenong Ranges and Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs.
The facilities are located at:

We Accept:
- BBQ gas bottles,
- Car batteries,
- Cardboard,
- DrumMUSTER farm chemical containers (must be triple rinsed) (Coldstream only)
- E-waste (including TVs)
- Fluorescent tubes (Coldstream only)
- Garden / Green waste
- Glass bottles & jars
- Hard / inert waste
- Household batteries (Coldstream only)
- Mattresses / bed bases
- Motor oil
- Paint
- Clean timber waste, and
- Tyres.
We Don’t Accept:
- Food waste
- Liquids (except Motor Oil and Paint)
- Asbestos
- Gas bottles (except BBQ gas bottles)
- Hazardous Waste (including chemicals)
- Logs or tree stumps over 200mm diameter
